Players arrive on a mysterious island and encounter a group of scientists. They help the scientists unravel the mysteries of a vanished, long-lost civilization and stop an ancient evil. Honu tells a unique story about ethics, friendship, and betrayal. It weaves this story together with puzzles based on ancient “Magitech.”

The project was created between 2022 and 2025 within the H-BRS GameDevTeam. It was developed by our team members together with students of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. It has been available for free on Steam since November 2025. Developed with Unreal Engine 5 and Articy Draft for organizing dialog and story.
