VR & Therapy

A VR application for treating agoraphobia, developed with University Hospital Cologne.

VR & Therapy places people with agoraphobia (fear of open spaces) in controlled, virtual everyday situations such as bus rides or crowded places. This enables exposure therapy in a safe, controllable environment. The project was developed in collaboration with the University Hospital of Cologne. It included custom-developed tools for setting up routes as well as user interfaces for vehicle-based scenarios.

The project was also featured in the media (General-Anzeiger, August 2022, DE). Developed by our co-founder David Bernhardt as part of his research at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
